With the acquisition of Paramount Seeds in 1997, followed by the formation of PlantTech in 2001 Elders has become one of the major participants in the dynamic and rapidly expanding seed industry. We are located in all major agricultural and horticultural regions of Australia.
Elders retail seed business has increased substantially from $A7 million in 1996, to an estimated $60 million in 2005. This exceptional growth will continue as Elders increase the number of seed varieties we handle for field crop, pasture and horticultural crop production.
Elders national network of specialist agronomists and seed co-ordinators ensures farmers receive expert advice on the varieties best suited to their individual circumstances, and continued support throughout the growing season to achieve maximum productivity.
